Ana's reasoning for calling her company "Sumcards" was to convey her belief that a gift or invitation should be from one's heart. To emphasize her belief, Ana has adapted the moniker "A thought from the heart is meant to touch our loved ones" in each product packaging.
Says Ana, " I had always found traditional gifts and favors to be uninspired and boring. They were all made of paper and fabricated in the same fashion. I wanted to change this by using supple fabric, creating products that were both fun and elegant, yet were of the highest quality. After all these years, I'm still pushing to craft the best, most exclusive product I can."
The products Ana has created, whether it be her wine bags, favors, invitations, cards, or bags, are all hand-made and feature bold designes that people can get excited about. All of Ana's collections are uniquely designed and offer the buyer a wealth of choices to get exactly what they want. At the New York Stationery trade show, Sumcards' gift bags took home the Best New Product Award among staunch competition and the invitations were a finalist for the Louis Award.
